Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is an author. She's co-founder and CEO of Thrive Global, as well as the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington has worked as a TV host, journalist writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for over ten years. She is also the owner of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. After moving into England from Greece when she was 16, she received a MA in Economics at Cambridge University. The well-known debating club The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it at the age of 21. In the years following her graduation, she became a well-known right-wing syndicated reporter. After a few years later, she founded The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current politics. Arianna was able to attract several prominent contributors who posted their thoughts regarding politics and culture. Arianna's celebrity status was first noticed in 2003 when she was a candidate for an independent in the California recall vote in order to replace the then governor Davis. She also headed an Detroit automobile project that was fuel efficient. She was named The Most influential women in media in 2009 by Forbes in 2009, and was awarded the 12th place in this list. The same year, the Guardian listed her among the 100 most influential media on their list. In 2011 AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post and made the president of that media company, which also included a number of then-existing AOL products, such as Engadget AOL music Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter of Konstantinos the manager's advisor as well as journalist. Although she was a close friend to her father, it was her bond with her mother that shaped her character. She showed leadership traits even in her early years. She moved to England at 16, to pursue her education and was accepted into Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debate club. Being the third woman president, and also the first foreigner she was the president of the Cambridge Union. In 1972 she received a degree in Economics. Following her graduation, she was employed as a critic for a newspaper column and an anchor on TV. In addition, she appeared with Bernard Levin in an episode of Face the music and started writing books using his editorial assistance.
