Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, at Locust Ridge Tenn. She grew up with 12 other kids. Her imaginative mind helped her escape from life's harsh reality. life. The show ended after 1974 because her solo songs like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene began charting the collaborations they had with each other.
