Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American singer, actress, producer and a singer. She's a beautiful, skilled actress that has inspired many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Following a string of early appearances in some popular series she gained fame after joining the cast in the series legal comedy Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. Her fame exploded into film roles such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. At the same time, she played major roles in other box-office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. After that, she started voice-overs for prominent characters in animation movies like Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen roles failed to bring her any popularity. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland helped re-establish herself as a prominent actress. Liu is extremely cautious when selecting her roles in order that she does not become isolated in an extremely in-demand industry. Though she has embraced the roots of her family, she has not allowed them to restrict her creativity.
