Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and performer is also an actress. She is an attractive, skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. Following a string of early performances in popular shows her fame was boosted by joining the cast in the series legal comedy Ally McBeal where she played the evil Ling Woo. The actress put her rapid success into role on the big screen in films such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. When she appeared in Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. She also played leading roles in films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated movies like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's part in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen production, didn't yield satisfactory results. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama series Southland allowed her to regain recognition as an actress of note. Liu is extremely cautious when picking her roles to ensure that she is not the victim of a hugely competition-driven industry. Even though she's accepted her cultural roots, she hasn't let it limit her artistic abilities.
